Dental crown is a tooth shaped restoration that covers a tooth to restore it back to its shape and function. People commonly call it a cap because it caps a tooth .It is also used to cover the implant. In a case where an implant supported crown is a chosen treatment plan for a patient to replace a missing tooth.
